…and it also changes your heart. Jesus tells us that, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." When we give generously, God does something deep within us. He changes our thoughts, our perspective, and our priorities.

Turning Small Sacrifices Into Lasting Impact
Fast for Hope is an initiative that invites people in our church to intentionally give up something they would normally spend money on and redirect that money toward organizations doing incredible work in our local community.
Maybe it’s skipping a meal out, passing on a cup of coffee, or choosing not to make a purchase you would normally make. These small, intentional sacrifices become meaningful gifts that help support organizations caring for people and making a difference right here in Sacramento.
But our involvement doesn’t stop with financial support.
When opportunities arise, we also partner with these organizations by sending people from our church to serve alongside them in person. We believe generosity is about more than giving money—it’s about giving our time, our abilities, and ourselves to the work God is already doing in our community.
