Back to Church Sunday

We’ve all had moments when something we’ve poured our heart into falls apart. Maybe it was a project at work, a relationship, or even your faith. That feeling of loss and disappointment can make it seem like there’s no coming back.

In Ezekiel 37, the prophet faces a valley full of dry, lifeless bones. At first glance, the situation seems hopeless—catastrophe, mistreatment, and extreme dryness. Yet, God asks, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel hesitates but humbly responds, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

Through this vision, we see three life-changing truths:

  • God sees potential when we see impossible. What looks dead to us is full of potential in His hands.

  • When we walk in faith, God turns death into life. Ezekiel obeys, speaks over the bones, and watches them assemble, grow flesh, and breathe life again.

  • God’s Spirit actively gives new life today. What God did for Israel, He can do for you—restoring hope, renewing faith, and bringing fresh beginnings.

The takeaway is clear: God doesn’t discard the broken. He breathes new life into what seems beyond repair. Whether it’s a relationship, a dream, or your spiritual life, His Spirit can revive what feels dead.

Next Steps:

  • Surrender hopeless situations to God and trust Him to breathe new life.

  • Take practical steps of faith and obedience, no matter how small.

  • Join a community of believers to walk alongside others in hope and restoration.

God is not finished yet. He is inviting you to step through the door of faith and see what He can do in your life.
